Hi all. (See the 'Scenes' section, to download these samples)...
Have been working on lots of more realistic graphics ideas, that are going
to be utilized in some fancy machines. (Just pre-release samples now...)

1 Improved gears!!
Have been studying gear anatomy!, and have created more realistic gears,
that are true polygons, and mesh a lot better. Complex maths involved.
For now, I am creating them externally, and writing a 'parser', which will
generate a Javascript-style snippet, that can be loaded into your existing
scene, with Physion's 'Evaluate Script'.

2 Real chains! to fit on real sprockets!! (And eg. limit-switch scripting).
Involved custom boolean-created link-parts, with heavy use of collision-
groups, so that the 'Rollers' between chain-links between chain-links are
the only items that collide with the Sprocket wheel. When creating, the
z-order of all the components is important, for correct visual result.
In THIS demo here, the 'sprocket' tooth spacing is wrong. I am in the
process of correcting it, with it's proper external creation, like the gears.

3 Have thrown in a (useless at the moment) demo of a real bearing!
Again, a table of what collides with what, is critical. Notice the 'split'
line in the inner & outer rings? Needed for continuity of the shape parts.

4 Am working on various sliding-cranks, like on old train-wheels etc.
This is just an example, created using many boolean ops with primitives.
Have included sample parts above, to give you an idea how I did it.
Notice the 'split' again, so that the 'inner' part is really one continuous
line with the 'outside' shape. (Split with the 'Erase Item' tool. Thinnest).
The split ends up hidden, when I made the whole crank black!

Nice work!

I noticed that you're simulating holes inside bodies by having a very small gap somewhere in the body. This must be really annoying and hard to do. I am just letting you know that from version 1.02 bodies will be able to have holes inside them without doing those kind of tricks

Looks promising, i really look forward for the creationcode.
