Since there are no more Scenes hosted on physion.net i uploaded an own mirror for the scenes.

If you start this scene (copy it to Physion-Folder\data\saves):

it will install AdvancedSoundConvert Toolbar in your Physion, which allows to attach many different soundformats, including mp3/ogg-streams to your objects.
OnStart, OnStop, OnKeyPress, OnContact will be autogenerated.
Inbuild Editor which is able to handle the huge files, and you can use multiple Editors at the same time.

You might try this demoscene:
This image is hidden for guests. Please log in or register to see it.

Caveats: No Syntaxhighligthing in the Editor, due buggy implementation of QSyntaxHighlighter. But it's completly written already.

FAQ:
The toolbar has 2 actions in it but none of them has an icon and both of them display the same name ("QAction"). Furthermore none of the two actions seem to perform an operation when triggered (like opening a file dialog or something similar).

What am I doing wrong?

I guess nothing .. probably a faulty Mousefilter.
I just fixed the zzz_mousefilter.script, so if you got any, please update yours.

Note: If you use multiple sounds in an object, the created Code in OnKeyPress will look like:

// Plays jayandsilentbob.mp3 when you Press "A"
// Plays lala.ogg when you Press "B"
// Plays MayBeBop_Commando.ogg when you Press "C"
// Stops all sounds (of this object) when your press Escape.
if (key == Qt.Key_A) {
snd_jayandsilentbob.play();
}
else if (key == Qt.Key_B) {
snd_lala.play();
}
else if (key == Qt.Key_C) {
snd_MayBeBop_Commando.play();
}
else if (key == Qt.Key_Escape) {
snd_jayandsilentbob.stop();
snd_lala.stop();
snd_MayBeBop_Commando.stop();
}

The Keycodes will always start by 'A', so if you use multiple objects with sound - or one with Files and one with a stream, they will both start with 'A', you have to change that yourself.
You can find all Keycodes here doc.qt.io/qt-5/qt.html#Key-enum

Edit: V1.13 Now you can also switch between the different codeblocks in the Editor with Contextmenu.

Edit: I've added a Demo of AdvancedSoundConvert

Edit: Mirror added ..

Note: You maybe get the error "FMOD error! ERR_NET_CONNECT (...) when starting AdvancedSoundConvertV1.13.scene (when Nectarine will have change the URLs again), but don't worry the Toolbar will just be installed fine.
Infinity is vast, especially near end.

Here it is at last!
Waiting for it from your first souncinvert
Forgot for what the hell i needed it while waiting
Gonna go and check it out right now!

I've opened your scene, started sim, create a sound, everything is perfect, but when I create new scene, your sound menu dissapears...
And it's still better to edit sound for a reason of making it smaller...

After loading your scene I do the following:

Start the simulation: As a result a random music theme is played (cool selections btw) and a new toolbar is created. The toolbar has 2 actions in it but none of them has an icon and both of them display the same name ("QAction"). Furthermore none of the two actions seem to perform an operation when triggered (like opening a file dialog or something similar).

What am I doing wrong?

I guess nothing .. it's the faulty Mousefilter you know.
Remove any mousefilters to check it out ..
But if you use the newest zzz_mousefilter.script it might work too.

Apart from Toolbox.script I don't have any other file inside data\scripts\autoload

Does this...
Remove any mousefilters to check it out ..
...still apply?

Edit: Erm .. you dont got ANY other scripts at all ? .. wow .. i'm totally confused now .. tried that myself and it wont run at all ..

O M G .. because my Code based on the buggy Mousefilter it wont run without any filter or a correctly working one.
