3D Physion. WTF ? 6 years, 3 months ago #623

Got carried away, with an idea.
Just a simulation of 3D, for fun. (Going to improve it).

Just on one of my servers, to save cluttering the '.scenes' area.
Glenn.
1x1 square diag = root-2. Cube diag = root-3. Beautiful !

Surely a nice idea, but it immediatly crashes my Physion when starting:

Scene-Handling/Selection should really be improved, as i suggested here, all those useless Anonymous-Scenes which either do nothing, are just a bunch of crap. Or are just reuploads of existing scenes.
Infinity is vast, especially near end.

Hi Lynxx.
I found the problem !!
It ONLY crashes, when loading your LATEST 'zzz_mousefilter.script',
which I've been loading manually, when needed. Not in 'autoload'.
The older version does not make it crash, nor do any added user-toolbars.

EDIT: CORRECTION.
Your version 1.0 & version 0.9 both cause it to crash !!

Though it is strange that the error reports an issue with 'b2ContactSolver.cpp'
module of the Physion C++ library. But that's all beyond me.

I can also open the scene (which looks very interesting btw) but as soon as I press the play button, the application crashes with the following message:

Dynamics/Contacts/b2ContactSolver.cpp:96: b2ContactSolver::b2ContactSolver(b2Contact**, int32, b2StackAllocator*, float32): Assertion `kNormal > 1.19209290e-7F' failed.

Even if I remove the "zzz_mousefilter.script" from the autoload directory, I still get the same result.

One small correction: The 'b2ContactSolver.cpp' file is part of the Box2D library

Strange .. can't find the problem .. had such an error in a scene where one obj had a laaaaaarge Density-Value, but that's not the case here ..

Re: 3D Physion. WTF ? 6 years, 3 months ago #631

FIXED.
Found an underlying cause, in one of my variables, that was returning... 'NaN'.
(Not a number). It works now, even with your script loaded.
Can't understand how it worked, even an hour ago, unless loading your script?

Have updated the file now, at....
