I am trying get an item travel in a large circular path with on-update script.
Probably using sin and cos functions.
Can not get it to work.
Any suggestions.

I figured it out. See CirclingItem in scenes page.

Nice work with the 3DPlanets scene.

Maybe you could try increasing/decreasing the radius of the planets as they move along the z-axis. Some textures (both for planets and the background) would also make it more realistic.

Thanks for the complement.

I've been working on trying to get the l planet size to change with the y axis to simulate z axis movement.

Every thing I've tried messes up the motion of the orbits.

Looked at Glenn555's 3D Demo; but, I could not figure out what he was doing to change the size.

I could uses your help.

Hey, I got the z-axis sizing figured out.
Take a look at 3DPlanetsB.

I tried adding background. It slowed the animation down significantly.

Plus, I could not find any textures I liked.

Can you make custom textures or backgrounds ?

For such a small scene as 3DPlanetsB, applying textures to bodies and/or background shouldn't slow down the animation.

Plus, I could not find any textures I liked.

You mean that you cannot find any texture you like on the internet or in Physion's packaged textures?

Can you make custom textures or backgrounds ?

You can apply whatever texture (image) you like on any body or to the background
(...is this what you're asking?)
