Several suggestions for usability 3 Years, 9 Months ago
I've been playing with Physion for the last day or so and I am really enjoying it! Thank you for developing this software! It's really fun to create real-life "prototypes" to see how things work.

I was wondering if there was a way to adjust the spring connection points. Right now, I have to remember the spring settings, delete the spring, create a new spring, and re-enter the spring settings. It would be nice to be able to adjust the spring connections without having to recreate it.

Similar thing with all the objects. Is there any way to move objects while the environment is paused without having to manually change x, y, and angle?

Is there a way to connect a pulley to an object. Right now, it seems that it only sticks to the background but not to another object like you can with the revolute joint, for example.

Thank you again for such a great program! I am having lots of fun with it!

Hello PeterC and thanks for the suggestions!

This is a good idea. I'll try to make it happen in the next release.

Currently, when the simulation is paused, you can only move an object using the x,y and angle properties from the property editor. I know this hard and I'm planning to change it.

You can only connect the mid parts of the pulley (second and third point) to the background and not to another object.

Changing the properties via x, y, and angle is harder moreso because it seems they are set from the center point of the object so when you change lengths to an object that is "pinned" down with joints, the joints get detached when the properties change and I end up deleting all joints associated with the object and re-add them. Looking forward to seeing the changes!

Are you planning on enabling a pulley to be attached to an object? That would be great!

Yea, interface needs a lot of work...

Selecting few objects with frame, group it, move geoms, scale, rotate, transform to perfect geom and so on...
